About Paul Johnson

Paul Johnson MCSP, MSc, Bobath Tutor (BBTA/IBITA)

Paul qualified as a chartered physiotherapist in 1990 and after gaining experience across a wide area of physiotherapy practice he quickly specialised in neurology and stroke rehabilitation. This has included work in acute, rehabilitation and community settings.

A passion for clinical practice and teaching has seen Paul work as a senior lecturer in neurological physiotherapy at Northumbria University and he continues to have involvement in delivery of teaching and supervision of students in clinical practice.

In 2005 he qualified as a Bobath Tutor and he teaches courses nationally as a member of the British Bobath Tutors Association and the International Bobath Instructors Association. Paul is one of only fifteen qualified tutors within the UK.

In 2011 he completed a Master of Science degree in Advanced Clinical Practice (Neurological Rehabilitation) at Teeside University.
